I'm a senior producer at Marketplace, guiding coverage of science and technology and overseeing production of Marketplace Tech. Before coming to the Tech team, I edited a team of Marketplace reporters and was the overnight line producer for Marketplace Morning Report (getting up at 3 a.m. every day is a lot more palatable when you have a good team). Previously, I produced and occasionally hosted KPBS Midday Edition, a daily newsmagazine on San Diego's NPR station.
I've also reported for the San Diego Business Journal—covering the economy, banking, manufacturing and sports—and wire service Law360, covering breaking regulatory and legal news. My work has appeared in The New York Times and The Boston Globe, and on the PBS NewsHour.
I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2011 with a degree in Law, Letters and Society, a convoluted way of saying I studied American history.
